Mammoth Trip

12 hours and 15 minutes to do 660 miles. That’s including time for breaks, fuel and food. Not too shabby I think.

I did hear on the radio, but wasn’t able to see in person, that the bridge over Lake Mary road collapsed last night. I’m glad we don’t live on the Chair 15 side of the mountain, because they probably won’t be able to ski out of there fora  while now. The ski area for Chair 15 went over this bridge/tunnel, and the road to Lake Mary went through it. Lake Mary can still be accessed by Old Mammoth Road though.

Better photos of the bridge collapse.
