The Dodgers just finished a 3 game sweep of the Giants at AT&T Ballpark, or as Naeem likes to call it, the Phone Booth. That makes 11 straight victories for the Dodgers in San Francisco. Must be irritating as call can be to Giant’s fans, to watch Bonds go hitless the entire series, and only have a walk and a stolen base to show for it. The Dodgers aren’t going to give him home run number 755 so easily. Don’t misunderstand, they were not easy victories, particularly Saturday’s game when the Dodgers were just begging the Giants to win, but turning a 6 to 0 lead into a 7 to 7 tie. The Dodgers did come back to win, but I thought they were going to blow it for sure.Maybe they should though. When Bonds is in LA at the end of the month, maybe every pitch to him should be home run practice, very easy to hit, an obvious “here you go”. That way, for the rest of history, everyone knows Bond’s record tying and breaking home runs were give aways. Just so long as the game didn’t depend on it of course. I’ve gone to a bunch of games I haven’t posted about the past few months, some wins and some losses…. but beating the Giants in San Francisco always tastes sweet.Â
Friday the 13th? Lucky day for the Dodgers

Mmmmm…….sweet rivalry victory……
Phone Booth. It’s a good name. I’m tired of keeping track of every telco merger just so I can know what to call that stadium.
