Mammoth Deck

The real reason I went to Mammoth this past weekend was not to ski, but to work on the roof of our new back deck. This roof will be very important, as a hot tub is scheduled to arrive on that deck sometime by the end of the decade.

I know it doesn’t look like much, but the roof space for the new deck is 8 foot by 9 foot, which should be plenty big enough to keep a hot tub under. So far, we are not planning on enclosing the deck, so it might be a little chilly getting out of a hot tub in the evening. I’m voting in favor of a propane out door heater, like what are installed at many restaraunt’s out door patios, but that’ll certainly have to wait until after a hot tub is installed.
