The LA Times is reporting that Rupert the Swan is dead. O.C. Patrol Boat Kills Harbor’s Black Swan – Los Angeles Times
While I never liked that bird (having been attacked by him a few times, and seen him attack others many more), it is still a shame. Black swan with a red beak moving around the bay as if he owned it set a great picture or two.
