Needing traction

I’m just not focusing well at work this week. Understandable I guess. Still, it’s irritating, not to be at my usual rapid pace.

Spent Sunday and Monday night down at the beach, visiting cousins and a few other people. I didn’t know that the happy hour at the Harborside restaurant in the Pavillion on Balboa pier had such cheap good food. Supposedly, they also have good music on Sunday nights too, but I missed that.

Got out on Cathy’s Laser a bit yesterday. I needed that. Been a good long while since I was just out sailing.

And a Balboa Bar for desert was good too.

  1. Say hi for me, if you make it down there again, which you should. Sailing is good for the soul.

  2. Bill says:

At this rate, the earliest I’ll be down there is on Saturday or Sunday.

Tomorrow: Wake up early ( about 4 hours from now) drive to NV, pick up a few things, see if I can find any cows (bigger deal than it sounds), come back.

Thursday: Late afternoon/evening drive out to Lake Mead to pick up the rafts on

Friday: Pick up the lost rafters, hopefully early, drive back to LA. Find out if I need to work on Sat and Monday, else I might go up to Mammoth to get the last bit of summer skiing in before it’s closed.

I have both too many things, and not enough things to do, all at the same time.
