Breaking news…. 710 freeway is closed due to standoff

Ok. Numbnuts steals a car. Ends up on the 710 freeway north bound. Stops his car just south of the Firestone bridge, pulls out a gun…. Cal Trans stops traffic on the freeway, and clears it in both directions. Taking people off the freeway at the 5, and at Firestone. he’s currently boxed in by two SWAT vehicles, and the glass on his minivan is so tinted, nobdoy can see what’s gonig on inside…. Just lovely.

Let’s see. The Ports of LA and LB are the biggest in the country. Most of that traffic is on the 710 at some point. 215,000 vehicles move on this stretch everyday…. Traffic is competly screwed up on surface streets around here now. I think today might be a day to hit do McDonalds on the corner for lunch.
I want to watch what’s going on, but it’s more difficult than it should be to get a live video feed of the net…. so far, only http://www.cbs2.com is working on the mac…
