Telegraph | News | ‘If you don’t take a job as a prostitute, we can stop your benefits’
Damn, Germany has some very messed up labor laws. I mean, I like the fact of prostitution being legal. It’s your body, and if you and another consenting adult want to do something so be it. I say, even though I have a dislike of unions in practice, if not in general, that unionize it, enforce clean behavior and so on. I can see the margins being pretty…. well, you can figure out some well earning word, that doesn’t have a bad double entendre to it.
But if you don’t take a job, you lose your benefits? I can see reason in that, to keep slackers off the roles. But…. this one crosses the line for me.
I wonder, does Germany’s laws that “Under Germany’s welfare reforms, any woman under 55 who has been out of work for more than a year can be forced to take an available job – including in the sex industry – or lose her unemployment benefit. ” apply to men as well? Or can the guys sit at home free and clear?
