After work, I drove over to Fry’s and bought a few hundred dollars worth of equipment. I picked up an Epson Perfection 4870 Photo, with a 50 buck mail in rebate. I’m going to use this for the archival photos of the scout troop. I’ll set it up tomorrow or next week, after I get back from Mammoth. I’m going to do them all at 4800×4800 dpi, and saved in TIFF mode for full quality.
I also picked up a new 250 gig Western Digital hard drive, external. I went over to Ed’s, and we began backing up Doug’s computer. After I get back from Mammoth, I’ll start digging through it, to see if I can find anything. We went through all his photos, and finally saw all the pictures from his trip to Australia last summer. We hadn’t seen them at all before. one more thing to print out.
Tomorrow, I am going out to Mira Loma for training. Then back into LA, pack my bags. Friday, I want to leave for Mammoth straight from work, the earlier in the afternoon the better. Ed’s not going up, so I’m driving alone.
