So, I think we should do a bonfire at the end of this month. I’m thinking October 30th, a Saturday, down at Bolsa Chica State Beach. General idea is to drive down with a few hundred pounds of firewood, a few gallons of lighter fluid (or gasoline if we’re having fun) and light up the night sky. And maybe have some food and drink.
So what do you all think? We cook up some dinner, watch the fire, maybe play some beach activities in the late afternoon.
Bolsa Chica has no assigned or reserved spaces, but this time of year there should be a few available any time. I’ll post more information later about a where and a when, but I think I’d show up around noon just to make sure we had a pit, and enjoy some water and sun.
So please, post your thoughts and ideas. This is just a very casual plan, and we can just have fun!
If all goes well, I am so there!!
fire…good!
aaaarrrrrrrrhhhhhhhh…

Count me in!
As I mentioned as a reply to your other post, I will possess plenty of burnable wood to burn at the bonfire.
Bonfire! Bonfire! Bonfire!
Sounds like a great plan to me!
Bill is da man! Cool idea 🙂
Will certainly attend if business at home do not delay me.
I’ve taken pictures of my woodpiles:

Provided I’m not hung over from the party friday night, I’m there.
I’ve got more than a little firewood in the form of heavy pallets
that I should be able to get my hands on too.
It was a lot of fun!
