The Dodger game last night. A great outing by Jose lima, 8 innings of 1 run ball. But it was a tie game. Gagne comes in to pitch the 9th, and gives up one run. Adrian Beltre ties it up with a lead off solo homerun. We get two innings of Carrara pitching, and then Adrian Beltre wins the game with another solo homerun.
The stands started chanting MVP MVP. If there is one person who picks up the Dodgers and gets them the win this year, it is Adrian Beltre.
Obviously, the boat trip did not happen today. Tomorrow, it looks like Rachel, David and myself. We’ll probably just do a few hours, not the full day, and plan to be back around noon or so. Still plenty of room on the boat.
Also, a few people say next weekend is better, so we can try for a second run then.
