Long day at work the past two days. 5:30 am start times, leaving around 5pm each day. Tomorrow is easier, starting around 6:30. Thursday, though, when the VP’s visit, will be a 6am start time. So far so good though. I was told again today my raise/review paperwork is in progress. We shall see when I get it, and what I get out of it. I am going to have a list of things to discuss during the review though. I think I simply should.
Did the scout meeting tonight. Summer camp was good for them, I’m a bastard for missing it again. Saw Jason, he’s interviewing for a new job at Southwest that would move him to their Reno area as a supervisor. If he gets it, it’ll be a good opportunity for him. Pay increase, cheaper living, time to learn to ski.
Had a few other thoughts, but I’ve lost them. I need a captain’s log out of Star Trek. Something where I can just start talking, it’s recorded and put into a report format.
Amanda’s latest email says she is now flying jet airplanes. Big thrill for her, but the 12 hour days will wear her down quick I imagine.
