Fireworks!

Last Friday was quite explosive:

The past few years I’ve tried improving my fireworks photography skills. It’s been much harder than I’d like, to the point where one friend commented as I brought out the camera: “You’re going to try for fireworks again?”. It’s possible I should start leaving the camera in the bag more often…

I’m mostly happy with this shot, with the setting moon in the background, over Lake Crowly. I should probably crop out the reflection in the car windows along the left, but I think it adds something. What it adds, I’m not sure.
