Local Fires

For those of you outside of Southern California, you may or may not of heard that there are many fires burning. The earliest one started this morning, and all are fueled by fierce Santa Ana winds. There is a Google Maps area of the fires. None are near me of course, but the surrounding hills of the LA basin are burning. The main piece of luck right now is that there is no major fire in the San Gabriel Mountains to the north. I can not smell any smoke here in South Gate, as most of the smoke and ash is being blown out to sea. I’m going to close the windows down and leave an air filter on though.
