my laptop is back!

Thursday, February 15th, 2007

Woohoo! Nice package from Apple via DHL, and my Macbook Pro is back! So far so good. It hasn’t shut down on me yet.
Not the biggest news of the world, but I’m glad to have it back!

A new way to deal with snow!

I’m in the Apple store right now, waiting to see someone. They will probably keep my laptop for a week or so. The very small [...]

Your Dominant Thinking Style: Modifying

Super logical and rational, you consider every fact available to you.
You don’t make rash decisions and are rarely moved by emotion.
You prefer what’s known and proven - to the new and untested.
You tend to ground those around you and add stability.

And I thought I had it rough on the swim team….

Monday, February 5th, 2007

High school doesn’t bring back many fond memories, at least if you believe TV sitcoms. But for a few students in Australia, their swimming class had a whole different set of problems.
Which raises a question. Is there anything in Australia that won’t try to kill you at some point?
