The week to come
Because I need to get away for a while, Ed and I are going to fly back east to visit some of our cousins on our mother’s side. Kristin and her mom were out in June and July for the Grand Canyon Raft Trip. We will fly out on Wednesday morning, and return the following Tuesday. Plenty to do in the Maryland/Washington DC area. Ed wants to see lots of Civil War stuff. Strangely, I don’t have anything specific on my mind to see or do. Civil War history never had any rael hold on me, unlike the revolutionary period, or ancient history. Maybe I just haven’t done enough reading, but I just don’t know.
