Labor Day pictures!

I know, it’s a week and a half after Labor Day. Doesn’t mean I didn’t do anything worth mentioning, just means I’ve been too busy to mention it.

On Sunday, I was down at Newport with Leslie and her kids, and took them out on the hobie cat

Then on Monday, Ed and I took our Cousin Nick, and his girlfriend Julia out to Catalina on the Say When

While out there, we saw the Liberty

Believe it or not, that was a day with 66 people out on the boat.

The weather was sunny and warm, with a strong breeze. The downside was that there was a moderate 5 foot swell from the west-north-west, meaning it was a bumpy ride to the island and back…. if I had known it was going to be that bumpy, I might not of gone out that day.

Then after the boat trip, we went up to Sally’s, where the annoying cousin’s mother was hosting a barbecue. Much fun was had by all….. not to mention steaks!

I gotta ask…. Is there a reason we see you with the Say When’s engines…. like oh, a low oil pressure alarm? :-)

you don’t see me at all in that pic! That’s Ed on the left, and Nick on the right…. who do you think was taking the picture?

As for why they are by the engines, that’s the low spot of the boat, making it easy to climb back in :P

I know that was Ed and (not you). I meant you in the collective sense. As in you all :)

    yeah, easy, that’s it. Sure.

What? An engine problem going to Catalina? That never happens! :)

Hey, when you were out with me, it was a fuel problem, not an engine problem! Completely different things….

Everybody likes to paddle right? It’s exercise and builds muscles!
