Crap.
The raft got in 12 hours early.
Nothing is wrong, except I’m not there. So I’m on my way north with a trailer, and will get in around 2 am or so.
Gary’s heading up with me, so he’ll keep me awake all night long. His snoring will probably be enough
I’m just not focusing well at work this week. Understandable I guess. Still, it’s irritating, not to be at my usual rapid pace.

So I’m in Flagstaff.
My family is on the raft on the Colorado.
I’m in Flagstaff with Sarah S., in the Northern Arizona Library.
Out of 16 possible trip positions, only 13 are on the rafts.
Here we are at Vasey’s Paradise
A cool refreshing drink, right out of the rock. No filters or purification neccessary. Just drink it up.
There’s poison ivy here, but hopefully nobody touches it.
By now we should be passing under Navjao Bridge, which bridges across Marble Canyon. This is one of two main highways in across Northern Arizona
We’re waking up early this morning to set up the boat. Here’s a photo from a previous year’s trip.

My Alarm is set for 3 am, to pick up Bob, and be picked up by Sally, to be up at Steve’s around 4…..
