South Park just aired the second of a two part episode on censorship. The focus of the episodes was on censoring the image of of a religious prophet.
In the episode, the network is convinced to air the uncensored image at the last moment. However, when it is set to be shown to us, the audience, a black screen with text stating a censoring policy is shown, not as part of the episode, but over the episode.
I can’t figure out if this is a joke on the part of Matt and Trey, or a real policy enforced by Comedy Central…. but either way, it proves a point.
