11.7 degrees outside. That’s what the thermometer says. That’s cold.

Lots of snow on the ground at Mammoth. The heavy lumber firewood is all covered in ice, so all I have to burn is kindling. I’ve got the house up to 60 degrees now, up from 45 degrees 24 hours ago.

I had a good full day of skiing. Powdery morning, with broken chop in the afternoon. The temps were in the 20s all day long. I didn’t take my camera up, as it was cloudy. With a few broken rays of sunshine, it just wasn’t worth it.

Surprisingly, the wind was not blowing strong at all. 5 to 10 mph was all.
