Busy week ahead of me
Tonight: Scout Committee Meeting. Starts at 7:30, should be done by 8:30, but will probably run till 10. Some people just talk too much….
Tomorrow: Train my replacement at work. Then a Scout meeting
Wednesday: More training of my replacement. He’ll be my shadow till I tell him he’s ready. Sooner the better of course…. Then a musical at the Ahmanson Theatre: “The Drowsy Chaperone”. Hopefully dinner at the Pacific Dining Car. We’ll see how that goes, I’ll post more later
Thursday: Up to San Marino to give my old computer to the annoying cousin’s younger brother (who doesn’t post here). Right now, I’m transferring all my old stuff from it to the new G5 tower (picked it up 400 bucks off original price at Fry’s yesterday). Speeds are transferring at 15 MB/sec, peaking around 40 MB/sec. I really love Gigabit ethernet….. Still 2 hours to go, from my 160 GB drive…
Friday… nothing going on yet.
Saturday morning, drive up to Crystal lake with the Scouts, pick mistletoe. Spend the night, come back on Sunday. Sell mistletoe as a fund raiser. Make half hearted lame attempt to use mistletoe for my own uses, and gain humor from the attempt.
