Heh…. All the sea lion does is lay around all day and take fish from tourists. We should eliminate the tourism, and the sea lions will go away.
There have always (in my memory) been one or two sleeping or owning a boat’s swim step. Can they do the damage described? Oh yes, undoubtably. They know they are special, and they just love the attention they now get.
But if they start having a legalized seal hunt, where a certain number per year are allowed to be hunted, I might sign up for that.
