Fairfield County Weekly: A New (London) Low
I want to rant about this artcile after I get back home to South Gate. These eminent domain cases really irk me, and this is taking it to whole new levels…..

Weather in NC…

Thursday, August 18th, 2005

I really don’t have much to post lately
The thunderstorm yesterday was nice. But I miss the smell of the rain evaporating off the hot desert floor. Nothing beats that smell, at least in my experience. The smell of burned 2 cycle motor oil in gasoline is a close second, though I think most of you [...]

Still in NC

Tuesday, August 16th, 2005

I’m still in NC. Nothing really to write. It’s not as hot and muggy as I expected it to be, though it is worse than I hope for. But what can I say, SoCal has the best weather in the world (even when it’s earthquake weather)
I haven’t even seen the problems I was sent out [...]

I’m in NC now…. I step out of the airport at 11pm at night, it’s low to mid 80s, and humid.

Good for ZD Net

Thursday, August 11th, 2005

ZDNet recently got told by Google that they would no longer be given interviews by Google. This was because, using Google, they were able to find personal information about Google’s owners, and post the information on the net. Now, the UK branch of ZDNet is scared they won’t get the personalized interviews either. SO they [...]

Coming to campus: E-books with expiration dates | Tech News on ZDNet

Wednesday, August 10th, 2005

Great…. textbooks with a 5 month expiration date. Even for 33% cheaper, it’s not worth it. I’ve kept 90% of the books I bought in school, and even if I look at them once every 5 years, it’s a worthwhile investment.
Maybe it’s different for the english or drama majors out there, but I can’t see [...]
