Here’s the government’s report for the waters outside of San Francisco. 15 to 20 knot winds in the afternoon tomorrow, and 3 to 5 foot swells at 7 seconds from the northwest. Not too bad, but it will be interesting.
The traditional “worry” point is when the size of the wave in feet equals their period in seconds. So 5 foot swells every 5 seconds would be a bit rough.
