Trip: Tuesday

OOh, I must be sore today! Long 9.5 mile trail down hill, then frozen seafood that went bad in the hot desert sun.

I’m going to day hike today, maybe down to where the warm Tapeats Creek meets the chilly Colorado river, or maybe up to Tapeats Spring and Cave.

Then we move the campsite over to Surprise Valley, with no water avaliable, for the next 3 nights. I plan on carrying 10 liters of water over from Thunder River, and on cooking spaghatti tonight.

As I plan tomorrow as a lay over day of rest, there should not be much going on.
