Today, we should be begining our decesnt into the Grand Canyon, along the Bill Hall Trail. There is no water until we get to our campsite, at Upper Tapeats Creek. Probably the open flat patch of brown in the middle of that photo.
This is our only night with water at the camp ground, and I intend to make the most of it. I’ve carried down fried shrimp and calamari, defrosting along the trail, and will cook it up good tonight.
