North Carolina Visit
It looks like I will be visiting the North Carolina facility of RSI next week. The tenative plan is for me to fly out on Monday the 2nd, and back on Friday the 5th.
LAX to Atlanta, then into Greensboro, and then a drive into Lincolnton of about 2 hours.
Any suggestions for what to do while in North Carolina? Besides work that is, which will probably take up 12 hour days or something.
I’ve been told not to wear plad of flannel, or else they might mistake me for a native and I won’t be allowed to leave.
I’m going out there to set up a new machine that will take all of 30 minutes to show how to work. Last week I was told it would not be neccessary for me to do so, but now it looks that way….. I’m annoyed at that, and I shouldn’t be. It is a good opportunity to see the place before it gets hot and humid…

Further orders from people out in Anaheim of things not to do in NC:
Do not wear my wide brim hat
Do not get in trucks with gun racks, they will be loaded (Big deal in my opinion)
Do not look at housing prices, they will be 4 to 6 times cheaper than LA County or Orange County, as the sticker shock will want you to move out there.
Do remember that it rains hard out there. They get things called huricanes, that are much worse than any earthquake. Mostly cause they get 1 to 4 a year, and Southern California earthquakes happen on a 10 year scale, and are relatively localized on an epicenter.
more to come….
