I’m not dead, just resting

Ok, I’ve been very negligent to my blog.

I have not mentioned, nor posted pictures of my trip to Mammoth two weekends ago with Justin. (Sunny on Saturday, too windy on Sunday: 100mph at the cornice)

Work week following was boring, aside from leprosy comments from my peelings skin due to sun on the previous Saturday.

My mom’s sister visited last weekend, was a good trip. Saturday I worked half a day, didn’t finish enough items.

Sunday, I tried to hike down Mt. Wilson to Studervant falls, but realized I wasn’t in shape for that. Mt. Wilson is harder than I remember at the top. I have pictures, but I’ll post them latter. The bottom 4 miles…. 1500 feet elevation. The last 3 miles, is 3000 feet elevation gain. That’s right, 5 feet forward, 1 foot up.

It’s been painful on my knees.

Today, I missed the Dodger home opener since I was working, but they pulled out a 4 run come from behind win in the 9th.

I have to admit, I really dislike the new commentary crew for the Dodger radio games. Ross Porter was a wealth of knowledge, and made Rick Monday bearable. But Monday and this new guy for color commentary….. makes me want to change the station.

Course, it’s fitting in with McCourt’s plan to destroy the Dodgers and Dodger Stadium, and build apartments in Chavez Ravine. he wants to take down all the good work of Walter O’Malley and the LA City Council by destroying a slum and building concrete and grass, by returning people to living there full time. Blasphemy!

At some Rotary thing last year, my mom and dad won 4 tickets to a game, in the yellow season ticket level. So we are going on this next Saturday game. Should be fun

Ugh, I caught Dodger pre-game on FSN West today, and those three guys are terrible! Tripping over each other’s thoughts, bad jokes, uninsightful play by play… Thank goodness Vin Scully is still around to do the games. I don’t know if I’ll still be able to watch/listen to Dodger baseball once he’s gone…
