So it rained yesterday and into late this morning. my idea for whale watching trip was canceled, cause everyone who had reservations bailed, and my group was too small to support the boat by itself.
So what to do…
My current idea, which if I don’t want to sleep in sounds good, is to drive up to the top of Mt. Wilson early tomorrow morning, and get pictures of the sun rise. Being a tall mountain, the sun rises earlier up there, and I think I’d have to be there by 6am, and leave here by 4:30 to do that. I don’t think I can manage that. But getting there by 8am, I think I can do.
Of course, I come upon this idea at 8pm at night, too late to invite anyone along. And even if they did….. who really wants to spend 6am in the morning with me on a Sunday? Ok, you wild pack of girls out there, keep your giggles to yourself.
A follow up idea would be to hike down from Mt. Wilson to Chantry Flats (stopping by Sturtavant Waterfall)
Bummer there is, the road to Chantry Flats is washed out, so I’d have to hike out, instead of having someone drive around.
Or, I could hike down to the Arroyo Secco, but again I need someone to drive around.
Things to ponder…
Or I could just sleep in.
