Pictures from today’s skiing events

I got up this morning to cold air, and frosted windows. The condensate inside my room had frozen to the glass, but inside the room itself, it was warm enough. Barely. But lighting the heater did the trick, and the cabin warmed up nicely. We went out, did a few hours of skiing. The day was cold, and started out cloudy. Slowly the sun came out from behind the clouds, but never all at once. The top of the mountain hoarded the cloud, never letting the sun through completely. The advantage of this is for some interesting photography, but unfortunately, I don’t think my camera handles variation in contrasts very well in a single shot.

A few other things of note, but I’m not going to post on them yet. We shall see what the doctors report comes back to say, but it wasn’t me!

The road back was crowded, but moved along at a good pace. With the exception of entering Mojave. Had to pull a u turn, and back track to 58 (about 1/2 mile), and take the long way around into town. That main signal going into Mojave just backs things up for miles….

I may post more tomorrow, and if it’s on this trip, i’ll just edit it into this space.
