I’m up in Mammoth right now. The wind is blowing nicely, but it is not too cold. The drive up was great, no traffic, blue skies and lots of scenery. The trees are changing colors, and the elk were way out on 395, almost to the highway. Too bad they weren’t in season, as several of them had some nice racks.
I bought a pair of skis from the Mammoth Demo Shop. 125 bucks for one year old demos with bindings. Not a bad deal, considering they went for 700 or 800 new last year. They need just a little touch up work with epoxy on the top, to cover up exposed fiberglass. Just a few drops. It will work out nicely.
Tomorrow, an early morning drive back, lunch with a friend, company picnic, then Team America: World Police.
Oh yes, and Farscape’s miniseries first two episodes are tomorrow night. Too many things to do. Maybe somebody can Tivo it for me? Please?
