Dave McWilliams, Young Tung and myself went to Catalina today. We tried to launch out of the Queen Mary ramp, but it was full. So we drove around to Cabrillo launch, which had plenty of room. We then took an hour to go to the Isthmus, then out to the north end of the island. [...]

Saw Collateral tonight. Fun movie. I played the game of placing the scenery, seeing if I had been on that offramp or not. Probably yes to most, but some no.
We’re still on for this weekend at Catalina. Saturday morning, Queen Mary launch ramp.

The Dodger game last night. A great outing by Jose lima, 8 innings of 1 run ball. But it was a tie game. Gagne comes in to pitch the 9th, and gives up one run. Adrian Beltre ties it up with a lead off solo homerun. We get two innings of Carrara pitching, and then [...]

I’m off to the Dodger Game tonight. Still a seat or three for the boat trip this weekend. Now looks like Sunday, as the only people who have said anything say Sunday.

My cousin Kathryn is going to be in the bay area over Labor Day, and I said I would drive up to say hello. My general plan right now, is to drive up on Friday, see my aunt in Palo Alto, try to see a ball game at Pac Bell/SBC Park, see my cousin for [...]
