Blue Moon Tonight

So tonight is a blue moon, according to the definition of two full moons in one month. The other variation is four full moons in a quarter, which will happen on September 28 of this year. Next one is in 2007.

The difference in definitions is Sky and Telescope’s fault. Check out their explanation of it..

So is anybody up for anything wacky and fun tonight? Double points for a female who reads this!

The kind of thing I expect to see. Sly, intriguing and yet will lead to nothing. Perfect for a summer afternoon!

But really, tonight, I’m pretty much too bummed about the Dodger trades to do much of anything.

Perseids… hmm it’ll be dark then, no full moon. This could be fun. But the 12th is a thursday. Maybe Friday night fun anyway? Go up to mammoth maybe. Anybody interested?
