The Dodgers traded to Florida Mike Piaz…. I mean Paul Lo Duca today.
WTF? History repeats itself, trading a fan favorite catcher to Florida?
My bitterness and anger can not be expressed publicly. My personal thoughts are not sanitary enough for this forum.
Mota being traded saddens me, but does not piss me off. His career will take off from here, and he will be a great closer. Just wish he was with the Dodgers too.
What do the Dodgers get out of it? A decent starting pitcher, a practically worthless first baseman, and a pitching prospect who’s whole worth is to be traded for Randy Johnson. But I heard tonight Johnson said no to the trade. So the heart and soul of the team is given up, we trade a 300 hitter for a 260 hitter. David Ross better hope they don’t get Charles Johnson for the third time. A Martinez on KFWB today said “Johnson can still hit a home run now and then”. Hell, I can do that too. Now and then. I hope David Ross takes advantage of this opening and really shines. He’s a better catcher than Lo Duca, no doubt. But his hitting stinks so far.
I told Ed to ask for a refund on his summer six pack of tickets.
I’m thinking of becoming an Angels fan. Good thing I went over to Mark and Laura’s tonight, watched Badder Santa. Else, I may of pulled a Billy Bob and started drinking heavy.
Damn you Frank McCourt, for disassembling this team, and wanting to turn Dodger stadium into an apartment building.
And you know what? The Dodgers still won tonight too. But there is no joy in town.
